Lab for Entrepreneurship and Development (LEAD) is a research lab based in Cambridge, MA that spun-out of Harvard's IQSS. The Lab has the aim to generate and share knowledge about entrepreneurship, development, and sustainability across cultural and disciplinary boundaries. LEAD operates with three central pillars:
Distributing Knowledge
Launched the Lab for Entrepreneurship and Development book series in partnership with Emerald Publishing Group. Our first inaugural volume of the book series, titled Entrepreneurship and Development in the 21st Century, features work on a diverse array of subjects such as venture capital, cryptomarkets, and alternatives to fair trade.
Furthering Scholarship
Fostered through our research fellowship, a 6-month research opportunity we offered to over two dozen undergraduate students, graduate students, post-docs, and professors to conduct a research project with academic support and advising.
Fostering Collaboration
Hosted the inaugural "Entrepreneurship and Development Conference" at Harvard University in August 2018.
